For over 77 years, New England Casket Company has endeavored to design
and build the finest all wood constructed caskets. The company was founded by Fred Tobia, a cabinet maker, who came
to the United States from Italy as a young man. The first company shop was a small structure in the Maverick Square
area of East Boston.
As the company was expanding, it was moved to its present location after
World war II. Louis Tobia, Sr. succeeded his father in the early 1960's and has nourished and nurtured his father's dream
Finally in 1990, Louis Tobia, Jr. became the third generation to be
associated with New England Casket Company.
New England Casket Company takes great pride that it still manufactures
its product in the United States of America.
